Basildon's new Nando's restaurant has opened and is ready to welcome its first customers.
The eatery has officially launched in East Square as part of the £25million cinema complex in the town centre.
It comes after the opening was delayed earlier this week with bosses blaming reasons out of their control.
The chain has confirmed it has opened officially today. The complex also includes Empire Cinema which has yet to open and there is also a Kaspa's dessert parlour and restaurant Orleto Lounge.

It also comes after Nando's shut it's restaurant in the Eastgate Shopping Centre in the town. Earlier this week the chain said the new eatery has seating for 92 people inside and 16 outside.
The company also said it is transferring all of the team from the Basildon Eastgate to Basildon East Square, with 22 staff transferred and hired an additional 25 new staff.
