Two Rochford roads are set to close for 129 days next year as Cadent carries out main replacement works.
Golden Cross Road will be closed from its junction with Brays Lane for a distance of about 190m in a north westerly direction and Spencer Gardens will shut from its junction with Brays Lane for a distance of about 170m in a south easterly then south westerly direction.
The closures are scheduled to start on March 6 and will end on July 13, according to one.network.
They are required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains replacement works are undertaken by Cadent.
An alternative route is available via Boswell Avenue, Ashingdon Road, Canewdon View Road and vice versa with access only into Golden Cross Road.

Other upcoming road closures across south Essex include:
- Bardfield in Vange will close from its junction with Clay Hill Road for a distance of about 75m in a northeasterly direction.
The closure is scheduled to start on January 16 and will last for 3 days while footway and cycleway repair works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
- Benfleet Road in Hadleigh is closing from its junction with London Road for a distance of about 95m in a southerly direction.
It will be shut for one day from January 22 while overhead structure works are undertaken by Openreach.
- Church Road in Vange is closing from its junction with Osbourne Road for a distance of about 105m in a northwesterly direction.
The closure is scheduled to start on January 16 for one day while telecoms maintenance works are undertaken by MBNL.
- East Street in Rochford will shut from its junction with Old Ship Lane to its junction with South Street on January 16 for 3 nights (9pm to 5am).
The closure is required while duct installation works are undertaken by Openreach.
- Kiln Road in Thundersley is set to close for 13 nights as works are carried out.
The road is closing from both of its junctions with London Road to its junction with Hadleigh Park Avenue, a distance of about 115m.
The closure is scheduled to commence on January 16 for 13 nights (9pm to 6.30am) while carriageway surfacing works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
- High Road, Benfleet, will close from its junction with Brook Road for a distance of about 50m in a south easterly direction.
The closure is scheduled to start on January 9 for 1 night (7.30pm-11pm) while tarmac replacement works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
- Old Ship Lane in Rochford is closing from its junction with East Street to its junction with North Street on January 18.
The closure will be in place for one day while pole renewal works are undertaken by Openreach.
- Paglesham Road in Rochford will shut from a point about 910m south then south east of its junction with East Hall Road for about 120m in an easterly direction.
The closure is scheduled to start on January 20 for one day while overhead cabling works are undertaken by Openreach.
- Rawreth Lane in Rawreth is closing from its junction with Bedloes Lane for a distance of about 36m in a south easterly direction on January 18.
The closure will last for one night (7pm to 5am) while streetlight replacement works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
