Police have issued an update on the investigation into the death of a popular south Essex musician.
Bill Witham, 68, who played under the stage name Napper Swan, regularly performed in pubs in south Essex. He died on September 25 after a suspected attack.
Essex Police has released an update on the arrest of a man in connection with the death.

Emergency services were called to concerns for the welfare of a man on September 12 in Hullbridge, at about 5.30am and Mr Witham was taken to hospital in a life-threatening condition.
As part of the investigation, a 33-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
Essex Police says he's released under investigation and enquiries continue.
