Ambulance service bosses issue a warning to patients due to service being under "extreme pressure."
The East of England Ambulance Service is telling patients to only contact the service due to life threatening condition or serious injury.
It comes after figures revealed patients spent hundreds of hours stuck in ambulances caused by delays at south and mid Essex hospitals.

A spokesman said: "The NHS in the EEAST region is currently under extreme pressure – if you need to contact us because of a life-threatening condition or serious injury, please call us on 999. For all other calls, please go to #111, your GP or a minor injury centre."
