Another driver has been rescued from flood water this morning after crews saved three people from flooded roads yesterday.
Firefighters were called to rescue the motorist this morning in Buttsbury Wash, near Billericay.
Yesterday, crews also found three vehicles stuck in flood waters.
One person was rescued from their van which was stuck in 5ft of water, and two elderly people were rescued from their car.
One further car was found floating in flood waters, but after crews thoroughly checked inside, the vehicle was confirmed to be empty.
Five Essex crews were called out to help with the rescues yesterday.
An Essex Fire and Rescue spokesman said: "If you come across a flooded road - turn around and find another route - a few minutes detour is not going to destroy your car but driving into flood water will."
