Police are no longer looking for the public's help to find two men in connection with a Southend "hit-and-run" investigation.
Essex Police are no longer looking for Jason Thomas Davis, 32 and Kiy Harmes, 25 in connection with the ongoing investigation into the death of a man on Southchurch Road in Southend yesterday (December 21).
Officers were called to Southchurch Road in Southend around 12.40am yesterday morning (December 21) following reports of a man being found in the carriageway with serious injuries.
He was taken to hospital where he sadly died. The victim has been identified as Stuart Chiddicks, 30 from Southend.
A 32-year-old man and a 25-year-old man, both from Southend have been arrested and currently in custody.
A connected vehicle has also been recovered.
An Essex Police spokesman said: "Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal."
