Two men have been released on bail after being arrested in connection with a fatal hit and run crash in Southend.
The two men aged 32 and 25 have been released on bail until March 21 whilst police enquiries continue.
Stuart Chiddicks, 30, died in the crash in the early hours of last Wednesday morning. Officers were called to the street at about 12.40am following reports of a man being found in the road with serious injuries.

He was taken to hospital, where he died. Following his death his devastated family paid tribute to Stuart, with his heartbroken mum admitting “he was the light of her life”.
Speaking at the time, his family said: “He enjoyed life to the fullest and always put his family above all else.
“He’ll be sorely missed by all that knew him.”
