ESSEX Police tonight launched a Section 60 order to be enforced overnight in Basildon following criminal reports including robbery this evening (January 3).
To protect the public, police officers have enforced a Section 60 order, increasing powers to stop and search individuals within a specific area.
The order will be enforced within the area displayed in the map and is in place until 7.45am tomorrow (January 4).
A police spokesman said: "The public are asked to continue to report any criminality or anti-social behaviour to us.
"You can let us know by submitting a report on our website or by using our online Live Chat service available Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) between 10am-9pm.

"Alternatively you can call us on 101. In an emergency always call 999.
