A driver caught 40mph over the speed limit on the A13 in south Essex has been fined more than £500.
Stefan-Vostinel Bleau, of Grover Walk, Corringham, was on the A13 in Stanford-le-Hope when he exceeded a temporary 50mph speed limit on June 13.
Bleau was in the A13 Trunk Road (Wennington Interchange - Stifford Interchange) when a calibrated speedometer caught him driving at 90mph, Basildon Magistrates' Court heard.
He was fined £570 on December 20 and ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £58 and costs of £90.
The 28-year-old's driving record has also been endorsed with 6 points.
