A former seafront nightclub came alive again in May after a £1.6million transformation that saw it turned into a bowling alley.
King Pins replaced the former Talk Nightclub in Lucy Road which closed on New Year’s Eve, 2019.
The venue offers ten bowling lanes, darts, big screens for live sport and eating areas for families.
“We had a vision, to create a fun-filled, action-packed, entertainment centre that caters to all members of the family,” general manager Kessie Larnder-Smith said.
“So far we have had an incredibly successful year.
“We have created a safe and inviting environment, with an approachable team of staff members who always have the customers’ best interest at heart.
“Our plans for the future include us expanding the centre to create the ultimate gaming experience. We feel this has been the perfect addition to Southend city and appreciate the tremendous amounts of support we have received thus far.”
