A NUMBER of cars have been left damaged after a large tree fell in the car park of an Essex supermarket.
Earlier today, at Tesco’s in Springfield Road, Chelmsford, a huge tree collapsed in the car park.

As a result, pictures show at least half a dozen cars were damaged from the fallen tree.
Images also show one car having its windscreen smashed by the tree.
Crews have reportedly since been on scene attempting to clear away parts of the tree at the Chelmsford store.
It is not clear if anyone was hurt by the incident at this stage.
