ARTISTS from around the world have joined forces to create 12 wooden ducks to be sold at auction to raise money for charity.
Daphne the Duck Charity Do is being held at Cobham Lodge Hotel in Westcliff on Saturday 4 February where the ducks will be lined up for auction. Although the event has sold out, online bids are welcome on the night.
The event was arranged by Daphne Lewis to raise money for Macmillan with the help of Aiden Waller, 13, who is fighting cancer, along with Sarah and Rob, his parents, are also involved in the event.
Including all the social media networks, Daphne and the artists involved have a following of more than 240,000.
Artists involved include: Elaine Baxter, Saida Bee, Andy Downes, Kerry Doyland, Darren Goddard, Norman Hayeem, Sarah Jane, Karen Rao, Monica Sablone, Sharon Anne Stone and Heidi Willis.
