CLIFFS Pavilion bosses have warned theatregoers there will be ticket checks in place at a popular comedian’s sold out shows next week.
Micky Flanagan will be performing three special shows at the venue in Station Road, Westcliff, between Monday and Wednesday.
Theatre bosses have stated identification must be presented by ticketholders upon arrival and have warned entry could be refused to those who do not comply.
A statement reads: “We are looking forward to welcoming you to the Cliffs Pavilion next week to see Micky Flanagan's warm-up show and wish to remind you of the need to arrive in plenty of time since there will be ticket checks in place.
“Strong reminder that the ticket purchaser must attend the event and bring a valid photo ID matching the customer’s name on the ticket(s) to gain entry to the venue.
“If matching ID cannot be presented, entry may be refused. Guests will not be allowed entry without the ticket purchaser being present.”
The shows on Monday and Tuesday are due to commence at 7.30pm, with the Wednesday matinee kicking off at 3pm.
“All four shows are, as you would expect, sold out so an early arrival is strongly recommended,” added the statement.
