TWO men have been charged in connection with a stabbing in south Essex.
Wayne Kavanagh, a 31-year-old of West Road, Shoeburyness and Thomas Sitek, a 27-year-old of Elmsleigh Drive, Leigh will appear in Southend Magistrates’ Court today.
This comes after a man was found injured with a single stab wound and facial injuries in a property in Canewdon.

Wayne Kavanagh has been charged with GBH, two counts of false imprisonment and assault by beating.
Thomas Sitek has been charged with GBH and two counts of false imprisonment.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: “We were called just before 8.55am on Sunday 22 January to reports of an injured man at a property in Paddocks Close, Canewdon.
“Officers attended and found a man, 20s, had sustained a single stab wound and facial injuries.
“We are continuing to investigate and would ask if you have any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us.
“Please quote incident 324 of 23 January when providing any information to make sure it gets to the right person as quickly as possible.”
