A LARGE police presence is at a south Essex road after people have been seen with weapons.
A number of residents reported seeing occupants inside a vehicle with weapons in Ashingdon Road, Rochford.
Essex Police say they responded within minutes and have increased the policing presence within the area.

They are also urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has any footage to get in contact immediately.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: “Officers responded to reports of a disturbance in Ashingdon Road, Rochford, shortly after 4pm today, Tuesday 24 January.
“It was reported that a vehicle had driven along the road and that weapons had been seen in the hands of the occupants.
“We responded to the incident within minutes and people will have seen an increased policing presence in the area throughout the last two hours.
“Thankfully, no one in the area sustained any injuries.
“No arrests have been made and our investigation is ongoing.
“We are currently speaking to a number of witnesses to obtain their accounts.
“We need anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam or mobile phone footage of it to get in contact.
“We would also urge residents in the area to check their CCTV or doorbell cameras to see if they have captured any footage which may be useful in our investigation.
“Please cite incident 800 of 24 January.”
