A CARE home for the elderly has been without central heating for more than a week.
Hopes Green Care Home - which cares for up to 50 older people including people with physical frailties and dementia - is working to fix the problem as soon as possible.
Portable heaters have been installed in residents rooms and those who are still cold have been encouraged to spend time in the communal rooms of the home.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) has been informed of the issues at the South Benfleet home run by Four Seasons Health Care.
One resident's granddaughter, who wished to remain anonymous, told the Echo she was furious with the conditions her elderly and frail nan - who has mobility issues - had been left in.
"There has been been no heating for over seven days now and the care home is absolutely freezing," she said.
“My poor nan is in there. She's 92 and is sat in her room with a little heater.
"These poor elderly people are being failed by the system. Nobody should have to be freezing cold when you're in a home paying an extortionate amount of money to them."
A spokesman for Four Seasons Health Care said: “We are aware of an issue affecting the heating in some of the rooms at Hopes Green Care Home and are working with our heating partner to rectify this as quickly as possible.
“To ensure the comfort and safety of residents, we have deployed the maximum number of portable heaters permitted and are encouraging residents in affected rooms to relocate to the communal area.
“For those residents who prefer to remain in their bedrooms, we have provided extra blankets and quilts, in addition to the heaters. Senior team members are conducting additional checks every half hour to ensure the wellbeing and comfort of residents in the rooms with heating problems.
“An engineer is attending on Thursday, January 26h to fix the issue, and we have informed both the CQC and safeguarding who have confirmed that they are reassured we have taken appropriate action in the meantime.”
The home was rated “requires improvement” by the CQC following an inspection last year.
