A VICTIM has been left injured and had his personal items stolen after being attacked from behind in Southend.
Essex Police is investigating reports of a robbery in Southend where a man was assaulted by two people.
The victim, in his 30s, was attacked from behind at the junction of Warrior Square and Southchurch Road between 11:15pm and 11:30pm on Saturday, January 14.

He was left with a dislocated shoulder, and had his phone, car keys, and wallet stolen.
Essex Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
A spokesman said: “We are investigating a robbery in Southend where a man was assaulted by two people.
“We believe there were a number of people in the area at the time who may have seen what happened and we need to speak to them.
“We are also interested in a white Peugeot Expert-style van which was seen in the area at the time the incident took place.
“If you have any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us.
“Please quote the crime reference number 42/8457/23.”
