PHOTOGRAPHERS and wildlife enthusiasts are invited to get up close and personal with the big cats at Colchester Zoo as part of their big cat photography workshop.
Attendees will have the opportunity to get close to Amur leopards and tigers, African lions, cheetahs and other animals, while learning about camera settings and the animals themselves.
The event will also be held with professional wildlife photographer, Barbara Meyer, who will be on hand throughout the event to offer advice and help with camera settings.
Barbara will inform visitors about conservation and how each big cat is affected by poaching and what their situation in the wild is like.
The events are kept small, with four attendees per session, in order to benefit visitors with getting in good positions around the enclosures and having easier access to one on one support when needed.
The big cat photography workshops will start at 9.30am and will finish at 4.30pm, with several dates available across February and March.
There are also other photography experiences for different species.
