A BUS crashed into railings near Basildon hospital this morning.
The First Essex B2 bus collided with the railings near the hospitals stand B bus stop at about 9.45am this morning (February 6).

Photos taken by passenger Roy Davis show the extent of the damage; the railing can be seen to have buckled under the pressure, with a dent left in the front end of the bus.
Nobody was seriously hurt.
A spokesman for First Essex said:” Whilst approaching the kerbside to allow easy access for a person in a wheelchair one of our buses collided with a railing causing slight damage to the bus and infrastructure, no injuries were sustained to anyone on the bus or any person waiting to board the bus on the pavement”
