A motorist who was caught driving in Basildon with only a provisional licence and no insurance has been banned from the roads.
Callem Raymond Mills, 27, of Albemarle Close, Grays, was driving a BMW in Pitsea Road with a provisional UK driving licence, L plates not displayed on the vehicle and was not being supervised whilst driving on June 5.
He also had no insurance.
The offences were proven in his absence at Basildon Magistrates' Court and Mills was fined £667 on January 18.
He has also been banned from driving for a year and must pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £66 as well as costs of £90.
