A major south Essex road is set to close overnight from next week as resurfacing works will be undertaken.
Drivers are being warned part of the A13 towards Southend will be closed overnight on weekdays from next week.
Connect Plus Services will be undertaking resurfacing works on the A13 eastbound overnight from Monday February 13 until Tuesday February 21.
The road will be closed from 10pm to 6am from the Stifford Interchange (A1012) to Tilbury (A1089) northbound, including the A13 eastbound link road, during this period.
There will be no weekend works.
A spokesman for Thurrock Council said: "A diversion will be in place for motorway and non-motorway traffic.
"Please take care and plan your journey."
