LONG queues are already forming on the A127 following a lane closure near Rayleigh Weir.
According to AA Traffic News, it is due to construction in the area.
They say: “Queuing traffic on A127 Southend Arterial Road, Westbound, after A129 Rayleigh Road (Rayleigh Weir).

“In the construction area.
“One lane of two, is closed.”
It is believed UK Power Networks are responsible for these works which could potentially be in place until February 17.
This is due to “utility repair and maintenance works”.
