Southend came together for a candle-lit vigil in memory of a 16-year-old transgender girl who was killed in stabbing.
Southend Pride hosted the event in Prittlewell Gardens last night, with supporters joining together followig the teenagers death.
A spokesman for Southend Pride said: "Many thanks to all those who attended the vigil for Brianna Ghey, united in love and solidarity."
The schoolgirl from Birchwood in Warrington was fatally stabbed at the weekend.
Basildon Pride is hosting an event tonight in-front of The Bell Tower in St. Martin's Square, Basildon at 6:30pm.

She was found by members of the public in Culcheth Linear Park just after 3.10pm on Saturday.
Brianna has been described as "beautiful, witty, and hilarious".
Her death has shocked communities across the UK, particularly those from LGBT+ groups.
Two 15-year-olds will go on trial in July charged with the “extremely brutal and punishing” murder of the transgender girl Brianna Ghey, a court has been told.
The boy and girl, who cannot be named because of their age, appeared via video link for a brief hearing at Liverpool crown court on Thursday.
