Drivers are being warned of a full overnight closure of the A127 heading into Southend.
The road, eastbound, will be fully closed overnight from the Rayleigh Weir to Progress Road between 9pm and 6am on Monday and Tuesday.
Southend Council says this is so that essential resurfacing can take place to both lanes of the road as you enter the City boundary.

A spokesman said: "We have liaised with Essex Highways to agree this full closure at Rayleigh Weir junction, and approval for the diversion route which will be via Rayleigh High Street, Rayleigh Road and Progress Road back onto the A127.
"Every effort has been made to minimise disruption during the works and engineers will be on site co-ordinating the resurfacing works."
