A WOMAN has been taken to hospital after a motorbike crash on the A13.
Earlier this morning, there were severe delays across parts of south Essex after the A13 was blocked following a crash.
The crash involved a car and a motorcycle.
A woman, the motorcycle rider, was taken to Basildon Hospital for further assessment after the incident.
Her injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing injuries.

A spokesman for East of England Ambulance Service said: “One ambulance was sent this morning to the A13 near Stanford Le Hope following reports of a motorcyclist injured in a road traffic collision.
“One woman was transported to Basildon and Thurrock Hospital for further assessment and care.”
A spokesman for Essex Police added: “We were called to reports of a collision on the A13 near Corringham involving a car and a motorbike at around 5.15am today (Thursday 23 February).

“No-one has sustained life-threatening or life-changing injuries and the road has now re-opened.
“If you have any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us.
“Please quote incident 121 of 23 February.”
