YOBS have been hurling "objects" at moving cars from a bridge near a south Essex train station.
Essex Police say they have been called to reports in Salcott Crescent, Wickford, shortly after 8:30pm on Wednesday night.
This followed reports from motorists of “heavy” objects being thrown at car windscreens from a bridge which has reportedly caused criminal damage.

Officers did patrol and search the area after the report, but no arrests have been made at this stage.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: “We were called to Salcott Crescent in Wickford shortly after 8:30pm on last night, February 22, following reports of objects being thrown at cars causing criminal damage.

“Officers on patrol searched the area but no arrests have been made at this stage.
“Enquiries remain ongoing.
“Anyone with any information is asked to contact police, quoting reference number 42/32945/23.”
