A new thrilling ride could be coming to Adventure Island as hints have been dropped on the theme park's social media accounts.

Adventure Island attracts thousands of visitors every year with an exciting range of rides and attractions for the whole family.

And a spokesman for the popular theme park has dropped a huge hint on its platforms that a new 'Devils Dance' ride could be added to the park.

They said on Facebook and Twitter: "Want something new?

"If so you might want to keep your eye out as we might have a little surprise soon…

"Here’s a little sneak peak. Ready to dance with the devil?"

One of the hashtags added to the post suggest the it could be a claw ride "coming soon".

It was revealed on Friday that theme park bosses are also pushing ahead with a new attraction even bigger than the new City Wheel.

The new 40-metre tall viewing platform, which would be even taller than the big wheel, is set to be installed by summer 2024.

However, amusement park bosses are yet to finalise details.

The City Wheel cost in the region of £1million and was unveiled in December.
