WORLD Book Day is here and kids across the county have dressed up as their favourite book characters for a day of fun at school.
There have been some sensational outfits gracing the school gates this morning and parents have done their kids proud this year.
Hannah sent this hilarious photo of her son dressed as Prince Harry from his memoir Spare - the likeness is uncanny!
Harry, 10, from Leigh, is in year six at Blenheim Primary School.
Well done Harry, we think you deserve a crown for your World Book Day effort.
There was a sterling effort by Amelia Moth who dressed as Arrietty Clock from The Borrowers, complete with a homemade backpack and giant pencil.
For the six year pupil at Felmores Primary School in Basildon, it was a chance to enjoy big event at her school.
Mum Teri, said: "It's Amelia's last World book day before going to senior school, so we went out with a bang!"
Marisa Fiore, from Southend, sent us a photo of her son Bowie Fiore, six, dressed as a very dapper Willy Wonka.
Bowie, who is in year one at Sacred Heart RC Primary School in Southend, felt he had won his golden ticket today.
