A drink driver caught in Southend more than three times over the legal limit has been jailed.
Eddie Ray, of Hughenden Road, High Wycombe, was driving in Queensway on August 28 last year with 130 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, Chelmsford Magistrates' Court heard.
The legal limit is 35.
The court was also told Ray did not have a licence and insurance.
The 40-year-old admitted the offences and was sentenced on February 27 to 16 weeks in prison.
Ray must also pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £154 and was banned from driving for 48 months from September 26 last year.
