PC Adam Walker, of Grays town centre police team, says: “The production and sale of drugs by organised criminal gangs involves the exploitation of vulnerable people, who can be forced into criminal activity against their will.
“It’s also closely linked with violence and the proceeds fund more criminal activity which, in turn, leads to fear and misery for individuals and communities.
“So we are focused on bringing the criminals behind the growth and sale of cannabis to justice and helping to keep our communities safe.”
