Roy sadly passed away peacefully at home on 23/02/23. He will be greatly missed by his wife Pam, his daughters Cheryl and Julie and all their family and friends. The funeral will take place on Monday 27th March at 3pm at Basildon Crematorium, Church Road, SS13 2HG
BACON Alfred Henry Robert
Passed away peacefully on Thursday 23rd February 2023 aged 97 years. Previously from Southend, he served in Northumberland, Southend and Essex Police Forces. Elizabeth Bain Young ‘Betty’
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Betty, aged 76. Betty with be dearly missed by all her friends and family. We welcome you to join us in saying farewell at Basildon Crematorium on Wednesday 22nd March at 1pm. Followed by a celebration of Betty’s life as we raise a glass of something at ‘The Gun’ pub. Donations, if desired, can be made in Betty’s memory to the British Heart Foundation.’
