A TEENAGE boy has been ‘threatened with a knife’ and had his KFC takeaway stolen during a theft on Canvey.
The 13-year-old boy had just visited KFC in the High Street, Canvey to pick up a takeaway for himself and his sister on Sunday at 5.45pm before he was targeted.
The victim was approached by two boys, both believe to be 15-16, with one wearing a balaclava or ski mask.

They threatened him by stating they had a knife before stealing the food he had just purchased.
Essex Police is urging anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: “We are appealing for any information following an incident that occurred in High Street, Canvey, yesterday around 5.45pm.
“The victim had just left KFC when he was approached by two older males, who threatened him by stating they had a knife and then stole the food that he had just purchased for himself and his sister.
“The victim, aged 13, was pushed into the road, where he sustained bruises and has been left shaken up.
“The suspects are described as both white, 15-16 years old, the first suspect was skinny build wearing a ski mask or balaclava, the second suspect was larger build, wearing black clothing.
“Our officers are conducting enquiries, however if you were in the area at the time and saw or heard anything that you think could assist us identifying these two suspects, please contact us on 101, quoting investigation reference 42/44607/23.”
