A waste firm has issued a new update on bin collections over Easter weekend in Southend.
Many timetables for regular services, such as bin collections, sometimes amend their dates for pick ups around the Easter holidays.
Veolia has confirmed its revised collections from Good Friday (April 7) to Easter Sunday (April 9) this year.
For residents who have their recycling and waste collected on a Friday, there will only be a minor change.
Their revised collection day will be the next day, Saturday April 8.
There will be no other changes to collections.
All collections are expected to be carried out between 7am and 6pm however due to operational reasons some collections may be later in the day.
Southend Council's website advises: "Please continue to put your recycling and waste out by 7am on your collection day, continue to present on the edge of your property and do not report it as a missed collection until the following day."
