A man has been found dead after a house fire in south Essex today.
Emergency services were called to a fire at a house in Branksome Avenue, Stanford-le-Hope shortly after 3.05pm today (April 4).
Sadly, a man inside was found dead.

Essex Fire and Rescue Service crews are carrying out an investigation into the cause of the blaze.
However, police officers are not treating the man's death as suspicious at this stage.
An Essex Police spokesman said: "Essex County Fire and Rescue Service will carry out an investigation into the cause of the fire but we are not currently treating the man’s death as suspicious."
