WITH stunning views of the Thames Estuary, an open airy atmosphere and a range of tasty meals and snacks, the new restaurant and café on Southend’s legendary pier are already a big hit with customers.

The Offshore restaurant and Lazy Jacks café are now open in the Royal Pavilion on the world famous landmark.

It comes days after Southend was named Pier of the Year by the National Piers Society, a huge accolade for the 1.3-mile landmark.

“I think everyone’s just happy to see the venue open, I think it’s been a long time coming.

“It’s being welcomed with opened arms, people love the service, food and drink they are getting here.”
