A MAN with a “firearm” has threatened staff inside a south Essex shop during a robbery.
Essex Police is investigating a robbery at Rainbow Stores, in Corringham Road, Stanford-le-Hope.
It was reported a man went into the shop at around 1.30pm on April 11 and threatened a member of staff inside, before making off with cash.

Officers say the man had what was “described as a firearm”.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: “We are investigating a robbery at Rainbow Stores in Corringham Road, Stanford-le-Hope.
“It was reported a man went into the shop at around 1.30pm on 11 April and threatened a member of staff inside.
“They then made off with a two-figure sum of cash.
“Our enquiries are ongoing.
“If you have any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us.
“Please quote the crime reference number 42/65607/23.”
