A POLICE helicopter was launched in an Essex town today after reports of a High Street theft.
Police were on the scene in a matter of minutes after receiving reports of a theft of a motorbike from High Street in Old Harlow.

A helicopter was circling the town to find the suspects nearby as police officers were assisted by the National Police Air Service (NPAS) and specialist officers.

Police arrested two 16-year-old boys soon after who both remain in custody at this time.
An Essex Police spokesman said: "Any witnesses please contact us by using our live chat facilities on our website or by phoning 101 and quoting incident 476 of 18/04/2023."
