PLANES will fly over Southend today as part of a rehearsal for the King's Coronation Flypast.
The large formation flypast of aircraft will take place in the vicinity of Southend, The Wash, The North Sea and Southwold and Suffolk then route via the overhead of RAF Marham, Norfolk and overfly RAF Cranwell, Lincolnshire.
The planes will then disperse over North Lincolnshire and parts of Yorkshire.
The flypast rehearsals are scheduled to take place from today until Friday and are usually held on the first date unless the weather is too bad then it is held on one of the other days.

South Essex will host dozens of street parties and celebrations over the coronation weekend between May 6 and May 8, as councils have seen huge amounts of applications for street parties.
In Shoebury, a big coronation event is being planned by residents who enjoyed similar celebrations last year for the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
