ARMED police and a helicopter have been spotted in Basildon following an incident where a man was left injured.
Essex Police was called to Mayland Path at around 4:10pm yesterday, after a victim was approached by two people.
It was reported the victim in his 30s was assaulted and left with an injury to his arm.

Following the reports, armed police and helicopter fled to the scene.
An 18-year-old man was then arrested in connection with the incident and on suspicion of possession of a knife or bladed article.
He has since been released on bail until July 23.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: “An 18-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an incident where a man was injured in Basildon.
“He was assaulted and left with an injury to his arm.
“If you have any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us.
“Please quote the crime reference number 42/74577/23.”
