A MAN has appeared in court in connection with a 100mph police chase through south Essex.
Jason Harvey, 45 of Heaton Avenue, Romford, appeared at Southend Magistrates’ Court on Monday to answer various charges.
During the hearing it was indicated he would admit aggravated vehicle taking, fraudulently use a registration mark or registration document, dangerous driving, receiving stolen goods and aggravated vehicle taking.

He admitted driving without insurance and disqualified driving and failing to provide specimen for analysis.
He has been remanded in custody ahead of a hearing at Basildon Crown Court on Monday, May 22.
