POLICE are appealing for information following an early morning assault in Southend which left a man with a head injury.
It was reported the victim sustained a head injury following an incident outside Wagamama in Queensway shortly after 5.20am today, April 29.
At this stage, Essex Police does not have a description of the attacker but inquiries are ongoing to establish what led up to the assault and who is responsible.

A spokesman for Essex Police said: “We need anyone who saw anything or has any information about what happened to contact us.
“If you have any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us.
“Please quote incident 283 of 29 April.
“Alternatively you can call us on 101 but always call 999 in an emergency or contact Crimestoppers anonymously by visiting their website or calling 0800 555 111.”
