A WORLD famous mud race is all set for a busy day of entertainment.
The Maldon Mud Race is expected to bring thousands of visitors to the town for the event.
There will be live music, a fun fair, stalls, attractions, street food and bars set up in Maldon Promenade Park on Sunday.
The schedule of events from 10am to 5pm on the big stage in the park is as follows.
The day will kick off at 10am with live music from Ray Clarke.
At 10.25am, the Remedy Band will start a 25-minute set at Promenade Park.
Singer Evy Frearson will perform from 11am to 11.30am.
Midnight Repost will take the stage from 11.45am to 12.15pm.
The folk punk artist Fraser Morgan and the Great Catastrophe will be performing from 12.30pm to 1pm.
The race warm-up is then expected to start at about 1.15pm.
Comedian Jo Brand will then officially announce the start of the race between 1.30 to 1.45pm.
John Leech will be performing a DJ set on stage from 3pm to 5pm.
Visitors can park at Promenade Park or in the Town Centre, which is a short walk away from the park.
