RESIDENTS from Eastwood and Leigh are continuing to be left without power, as engineers continue to work on emergency repairs.
Eastwood and Leigh customers living in the postcode area of S S, SS9 2, and SS9 5 have been affected by an unplanned power cut due to a fault which happened at around 09.30am.

UK Power Networks, who sent their engineers to investigate the power cut, have confirmed that the network might be affected until 3pm, but homeowners continue to be left without power.
Although the UK Power Network cannot confirm a specific time for when the power will be restored, the engineers are still investigating the fault.
A spokesman for UK Power Networks said: "We are working to give you a more specific time for when your power will be back on.

"As soon as we get an update from our engineers we will display a time.
"We've had to turn off power in your area so our engineers can safely carry out emergency repairs to the network.
"Please only call us if you're in a dangerous situation or notice any damage to our equipment."
