A BUFFET restaurant in Basildon has temporarily stopped lunch service during the week due to rising food costs.
Spoon Basildon, a world buffet and bar in East Walk, has said they are struggling with rising food costs and staff shortages.
As a result, lunch will be temporarily unavailable from Monday to Friday until further notice.

This will take effect from Monday, May 29.
A spokesman for Spoon Basildon said: “Due to rising food costs and staff shortages, we regret to inform our customers that Monday to Friday lunch will be temporarily unavailable at this branch from Monday, May 29, until further notice.
“Thank you for your understanding.”
