A man has died after a crash in a major Rochford road this morning.
Police were called at 9.30am today (May 24) following reports of a single car crash in Sutton Road involving a grey Citroen.
Despite the best efforts of paramedics, a man has sadly died.
The road was closed whilst emergency services dealt and reopened just before 12noon.
An air ambulance was seen landing after the incident. Essex and Herts Air Ambulance has been contacted for comment.
