A MAJOR road will shut for nearly three months while work on gas mains replacement is set to commence.
In a bid to ensure public safety and upgrade the infrastructure, a road closure is set to commence on Vicarage Hill in Benfleet starting on Monday, June 12.
The closure, which is anticipated to last for 89 days, will allow Cadent, the gas distribution network operator, to carry out essential gas mains replacement work in the area.
