A WOMAN was left with a broken wrist after a gang of four attacked her and two others outside a takeaway restaurant.
Police officers are investigating the incident which took place outside Royal Grill in Southchurch Road, Southend.
Essex Police, which has only just released information about the assault, said it happened at about 2.40am on Sunday, March 12.
It is reported an argument took place inside the restaurant and the victims were followed outside and assaulted by four suspects.
A police spokesman said: “The three victims, two men and a woman, all in their 20s, sustained injuries including bruising after they were punched, kicked and stamped on.
“The woman also sustained a broken wrist.
“We are now asking for the public to help us identify the suspects.”
The first suspect is described as a woman in her late 20s, of large build and about 5ft 5ins in height, wearing her brunette hair in an updo.
Another suspect is a muscular man in his late 30s, about 5ft 11ins tall, with short brown hair in a buzz cut style.
It is said he was wearing a black puffer jacket at the time of the incident.
There is no further description of the other suspects, a man and a woman.
