Police are appealing for information after a burglary from a business in Rochford which saw hundreds of boxes of alcohol taken.

It was reported to police that a break-in occurred between 7pm and 8am on Wednesday April 19 at a unit in Purdeys Industrial Estate, Purdeys Way, Rochford.

An unknown number of suspects entered the building through the roof and removed boxes of alcohol worth a six-figure sum.

The suspects pulled apart a fence and loaded the stolen items into a vehicle along Fleethall Road.

PS Paul Restall said: “This burglary left the building with considerable damage and clearly required a great deal of planning.

“We are pursuing multiple lines of enquiry and are looking to review CCTV as we progress our investigation.

“We need anyone who may have information or footage relevant to this incident to come forward to assist us.”
