A BOY was allegedly approached by a teenager and threatened and robbed in Southend.

Essex Police is investigating reports of a robbery in Ruskin Avenue.

A 14-year-old boy was allegedly approached at about 6.35pm on Saturday where he was threatened and robbed of his bike.

The teenager is described as white, 5ft 6ins tall, of medium build, around 16 years old and wearing a grey tracksuit with a blue t-shirt.

Anyone with any information is being asked to contact the police.
