A HEAT health alert remains in place across Essex ahead of the sunny weather predicted today.
The UK Health Security Agency in partnership with the Met Office issues a yellow alert warning this week.
This covered the whole of Essex and is in place until tomorrow at 9am.

A yellow heat health warning means the heat is “unlikely to impact most people, but those particularly vulnerable, such as the elderly with multiple health conditions, are likely to struggle to cope”.
Temperatures today could potentially hit more than 30 degrees.
Despite this, after today, forecasters are predicting these high temperatures are not set to last.
As we head into the beginning of next week, temperatures are expected drop to between 22 and 25 degrees with chances of showers.
Forecasters add that in parts of Essex it will begin to feel fresher with temperatures closer to normal.
